montana has the BIG outdoors she was craving and Missoula is the perfect size city to begin the next chapter of her business; opening a training salon.

before becoming a stylist, she loved how incredible she always felt at the end of her personal hair appointments. making people feel good is her favorite and she dreamed of sharing that feeling with others. at 18 years old, she decided to move away from home, in arizona, to the big city in search of the perfect beauty school.

paul mitchell the school san diego was the one. san diego is where she found her love for natural texture. the secret to natural texture - just let it be. after four years of working with different curly hair cutting techniques and mentors, andi dove deeper into the curly girl world and joined the family of trained deva curl stylists in the spring of 2019.

her love affair with blonde started way before san diego. she is a second generation hairstylist and has been putting highlights of some kind in her hair since she was 8 years old. moving to san diego began her obsession with creating the perfect platinum tone; both for herself and her guests; and how to achieve it in a healthy way. she also fell in love with how blonde accents curls, especially a sun kissed beachy balayage.

san diego also has the perfect year-round climate which brings tons of opportunities for weddings! when she’s not obsessing over curls and blondes, she spends much of her free time geeking out on the newest trends in the bridal world from hairstyles to decor, dresses, rings and how they all combine to create the most magical weddings. she creates custom styles for each bride to accent their face shape and hair texture best, while also fitting into the style of the wedding.

andi is an aggressively positive human. she loves to research and tackle any and all challenges with hair. educating each of her guests on how to properly recreate their look at home is part of every appointment and she leaves you with tons of tips and tricks to make your life easier. she’s also known to give a kick ass head and neck massage at the shampoo bowl. andi has made it her mission to share her knowledge and expertise with all who work at haircraft and keep the good vibes growing!

when she’s not taking guests behind the chair, she assists andi in the salon and learns all of her ways. shay has mastered the art of the head massage - for real - they’ll make your toes curl! shay loves connecting with like minded individuals and completes each service with a killer curly hair set, our signature bombshell blowout or textured beachy waves. outside of learning while assisting andi in the salon, shay has one on one classes with her where she’s learning all the advanced cut and coloring skills.

shay thrives completing big transformations in the salon! whether its a breathtaking platinum transformation or just a fire haircut and product combo that takes fine textured hair from flat to fab, she’s obsessed. she watches andi do these transformations in the salon often and takes notes to help others in a similar way. shay is an absolute blast to be around! she’ll keep you feeling all the good vibes with fun house music bumping throughout the day. when she’s not creating epic makeover moments in the salon, shay raves all day and night. she brings that kandy kid peace, love, unity and respect energy with her to work every day. don’t be surprised if you see her dancing around the salon throughout your service or shaking her booty when her favorite song comes on.

shay is an animal lover. originally from polson, this montana cutie grew up on a ranch training horses and loves the power she feels when riding. connecting with horses and any other furry or scaly creature brings her endless joy. during her space time throughout the work day, you’ll often find her teaching our shop dogs new tricks. she’s also beyond obsessed with cats and can’t wait to live somewhere that allows her to live her ultimate cat mama life. growing up in a small town, she craved the night life of the city and moved to missoula for just that! we cannot say this enough… shay absolutely loves to dance! rave night at the badlander after dinner with espresso martinis is her idea of the perfect saturday night.

shay is proficient is all texture haircutting and styling, semi permanent gloss color treatments, deep conditioning treatments and blowouts.

apprenticeship was super important to breanne and thats how she found haircraft! she wanted to feel confident in her craft before taking on guests and learned so much while apprenticing for andi. she is proficient in curly hair cutting, coloring and styling. she enjoys working with all hair textures and loves empowering others to find the look that worst best for their needs and lifestyle. breanne is now a new mama to a beautiful baby boy and moved back to provo, ut, to be closer to family. she plans to continue taking clients in summer of 2023 after she is all settled. more info to come on her new location!

when she’s not killing it in the salon, giving shampoo head massages that’ll make your toes curl, breanne loves to live life spontaneously. she goes on last minute adventures with her family often and you’ll almost never find them out without their two fur babies, rango & ollie. a golden retriever and a newfoundland who just love to play & cuddle. her idea of a perfect afternoon includes a refreshing iced chai or strawberry lemonade and a long hike or trip to the dog park. last but not least, she’s a magician in the kitchen and loves to cook and bake.
